Upper and Lower Complete Dentures

COMPLETE DENTURE PROSTHESES are treatment planned and provided to patients that have lost all their teeth. The complete denture prostheses rely on saliva and the patient's remaining upper and lower jaw anatomies for support, stability and retention. The lower denture is usually more unstable due to the fact that there is no way to provide a seal for this denture as there is for the upper denture and because of the tongue.   Many patients do very well with carefully constructed prostheses. Dr. Over selects and places the teeth himself for all denture patients.

Upper Complete Denture

Fabricating a complete denture is the most exacting procedure that Dr. Over provides because these patients are the most compromised. An alternative to compete denture prostheses is to provide patients with implants to support and retain their dentures.
