MAXILLOFACIAL RECONSTRUCTION involves treating patients that have suffered congenital, trauma or cancer defects. Cancer patients often have had a portion of their face or upper and lower jaws removed due to the tumor and need to replace these tissues with not only esthetic but functional prostheses. He is formally trained in maxillofacial prosthetics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics.
